The sturdy and reliable electronic grooved drum machines of the MITO range have been designed to reach high winding speeds up to 1.400 m/min (mechanical speed up to 1.800 m/min) and to guarantee an optimal package formation thanks to our “Tens Control™” on-line  automatic tension device that assures a uniform yarn tension during the subsequent twisting phases, so as to allow an unwinding without tears, and to the pneumatic control of the take-up arm pressure.

 

Fadis, first and only in the world, has developed the new MITO machine combining the grooved drum system with the electronic on-line yarn tension control , where our well known “Tens Control™” tension device constantly controls and adjusts the yarn tension from the beginning to the end of the package formation.

This technology, combined with the pneumatic control of the take-up arm, that can be adjusted either for increasing or decreasing the pressure of the bobbin on the take-up arm, ensures an excellent unwinding and allows to obtain bobbins for twisting with a compact density and weight up to 15 % higher than with traditional drum machines.

These characteristics ensure a substantial increase of productivity and an excellent performance during the twisting process.

 

Moreover, the various yarn paths and angles have been carefully studied to ensure an optimal processing of any type of staple yarn, avoiding any useless rubbing.
